Today is my 21st birthday… Guess who the first to wish me Happy Birthday… is my dearest Xiao Wei, She wish me at 1.48am using message… Second is Kent who wishes me at 9.56am using message too... Anyway Happy Birthday to myself… So fast 21st year old, soon or later will reach 30th year old… For this year my birthday wishes are wish my family, relatives and friends stay happy always and have a good health always… Second is wish I have a prospects ahead… Third is secret…
Today will be going to watch The Dark Knight with two of my colleagues… Hopefully today will be a pleasant day for me… Just receive an email from my colleague, Gary about our life… Is very meaningful to see it… A professor uses a mayonnaise Jar to describe how you can handle your life… I like the way he describe it, is so meaningfully for those people who don’t know how to cherish their surrounding… If there is no family, friends, relatives and those passer-by, your life will be so black and white… Because of them, our life is full of colors… Will upload the story in here for you guys to see… Is always not full in our life without anyone… So people out there, this is my don’t know many times of advice to tell you guys to cherish your loved one.. Don’t wait until you lose it then you will regret…
For my past few weeks, have keep watching those movies that the lead actor/actress will lose their loved one without cherish them so nicely… First is the Ten Promises To My Dog, the lead actress, Fukuda Mayuko acted as Akari who is the owner of Golden Retriever named Sock in this movie. Second is the Money Not Enough 2, is about a mother who had three sons and their mother fall sick when the three sons started to bankrupt and their family had turn upside down and they can’t look after their mother because of money and no enough time to stay at home as they have to restart again to earn back those money… In the end their mother died because of wanted to save her granddaughter… That why people always say mothers are always being there for their kids whenever they need her… But their kids will always forget about their mothers… So I told myself, I have to be more filial to my mum from now on and also to my dad too… As they put a lot of effort in to watch us grow up… We can’t be so selfish that they should give us money when we are growing that time… We must also think that they always have their problems that they won’t tell us one as they don’t want us to worry with them and they want us to concentrate in our studies or works until we are stable in… So parents are super hero and three cheers for them… Got to go back to work again… Will write in the next time…
Mayonnaise Jar
When things in your life seem
almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar
and 2 cups of coffee.
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in
front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students
if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the
jar.
He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked
the students again
If the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand And poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded
with an unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced
two cups of coffee from under the table
and poured the entire contents
into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
'Now,' said the professor,
as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that
this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - Family, children, health,
friends, and favourite passions -- things that if everything else was
lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and
car.
The sand is everything else --
the small stuff'.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,'
he continued,
'there is no room for
the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time
and energy on the small stuff,
you will never have room for
the things that are
Important to you.
So...
pay attention to the things
that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.
Take time out with your friends.
There will always be time
to clean the house
and fix the washing machine'.
'Take care of the golf balls first --
the things that really matter.
Set your priorities.
the rest is just sand.'
One of the students raised her hand
and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'...
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'
