A new year has come…. I got to put down all those unhappiness things aside without bringing them along…. Got to start my life fresh every year but this year will be a special year for me as I finally become a Singaporean after 13th of January 2009…. This year wishes are get myself a Mr. Right and my studies will be smooth… I last week 30th of December 2008 just bought a Book named YAKUZA MOON (MEMOIRS OF A GANGSTER’S DAUGHTER) which I long ago wanted to buy… As the book cover did caught my eyesight during last year as this cover is a woman back with a full tattoo… Why I bought it later is because previously was a hard book cover which is heavy to carry around and was because one of my friend bought it and I thought of borrowing from him but in the end he forgot about it so I thinking to buy and lucky when I wanted to buy that time, the soft book cover just release and very fast out of stock so I do a reservation at kinokuniya Bookstore…
I starting reading this book was Friday night… When I started to read, I won’t be able to stop it as this book taught me a lot of stuff which I didn’t learn from my life… She was born at 1968 and her name is Shoko become the head of the gangster’s daughter… Shoko was living in luxury place for more than 10 years but when she reached at the age of 7, she was almost raped by her dad’s man in her own room when her dad was in jail of some problems… But when her dad was release, his attitude had change overnight… He will be a nice husband and dad in the morning but when the night starts, he will go to all kind of pub to have a drink and will bring all kind of hostesses home… When he reaches home, he will shout at her mum and will throw all the things which he can reach to… And at the age of 12, she had became a yanki(Ah Lian) and had her first sex with her first boyfriend… After that, she was being bully by all kind of Yanki around her area… The worst of her bullies was almost being gang raped but lucky was one of her rapist was actually her classmate so he saved her out of the trouble… She also started to take some kind of drugs and one fine day, she took a large potion of the drug until she was ‘High’ at the moment, she pull a guy of her gang who she had no feeling of on top of her and when she was awake, she find her head was laying on his shoulder…
After she reaches at the age of 15, she was being sent to reform school after she was caught by police… When her time in reform school for 8 months, she had changed to a behave girl but when she starts to come out that moment, her life change… Her day to go home, her Yanki friend was waiting out her house for her to come back… When she saw her friend was there, she ran to her to hug her… And where her exciting story began…. That moment, her friend ask her to out for fun as the rest of the yanki missed her a lot but the sad thing is that her parents was standing outside the house for her to go in but she choose to go out with her friends without thinking of her parents’ feeling… After that, her dad was hospitalized and she takes the role of taking care of her dad in the hospital… Because at that time, her dad’s business is going down and her mum needs to take the role of her dad in the business and taking care of baby sister… Her elder sister had just married at that time and her elder brother was busy with his own stuff…. So for those pass months, she was busy taking care of her dad so she had not time with her gang out there… In the hospital, a elderly lady came to talk to her and say she had a beautiful blond hair which was her naturally hair when in school all her teachers don’t believe her and keep asking her to dye by her hair into black and that was the first time someone did praise her for her blond hair… One fine day, when she was in the hospital, she went to the vending machine to buy a soda can, she saw a wallet was laying at the floor… So she opens out to see what is inside and she saw a huge cash in there, she almost took the cash out of the wallet but she didn’t, in the end, she handed in the wallet to the nurse room and after awhile, a nurse pushed a elderly guy towards her and the nurse told the guy that she was the one who picked up the wallet…. So the guy thanked her for the kind help and he put out some cash from his wallet and wanted to pass the cash to her but she rejected… The guy told her dad that she is a nice and helpful girl and her dad told her he was proud of her doing that…
But after her dad was discharged from hospital, she starts her yanki lifestyle again… She also started to take all kind of drugs, one fine day Shoko went to her friend’s friend’s house to have fun… But that guy was up to something was Shoko doesn’t expect it to happen on her… After Shoko had taken the drug for first time and she find that this drug is so strong and she can’t take it, so she want to go back home and her friend told that guy that they are going home so that guy passed her friend some cash and told her friend that used this cash to send Shoko and her friend home by cab… So Shoko and her friend went to that guy’s house for the second time but this time round, something happen on her… After they had injected the drug into their body, he told them he got something on so will be back later and ask Shoko and her friend to wait for him to come back so Shoko and her friend did waited for that guy to be back home while they are resting… Suddenly, her friend told her that she got something on and need to go out for awhile but will be back soon… So leave Shoko alone at that guy’s house playing Nintendo, but no one expect that he will be back during Shoko was alone… Once he saw her, he immediately ask her want to have something to eat but she say is so late already, I think I should be going back home but that guy say her friend is not coming back anyway and ask her why not we have sex… Shoko was so scared so she tried her best to get out of his house, but that guy strength was so strong that had her on the floor and Shoko tried to struggle but when she did that, that guy use his hand wear he wears his ring on hit her face with it until it bleeds… But when her strength started to fade away, someone bang on the door… So that guy lets me out and I ran towards the door and ran off back to my house without wearing my shoes on… But the next day, her friend called her to say sorry to her and told her that she didn’t expect him for doing that… Shoko told her she doesn’t want to hear so she hanged up the call immediately… After that incident, she found out that the guy was actually her friend’s boyfriend…
After that incident, she didn’t hanged up with her friend and the rest of the members and change her hangout with the other group of gang… Her house was being destroyed by all kind of debt collector everyday…. One day, a group of collector came to her house when one of her previous friends was there as a collector and saw her so he talk to her for awhile but her friend’s head saw it and ask him what is her name… Her terrible accident coming to her way… That particular night, her friend call and ask her out for a dinner but Shoko did ask him whether is anyone will be there too so he said his head will be there so Shoko told her friend that if is both of us out for dinner is ok but with his head along, she don’t want… So after so many times of reject, the head finally called Shoko himself and ask her out… This time, Shoko did go to meet him as she just wants to tell him not to call her anymore… But when she steps in his car, there is no way she can hide from him… Shoko in his car that moment, she asks him where they are going to??? So the head told him that there is a new Hotel which has KTV in it and Shoko was so mad that she asked him to pull over at here but the head threaten her that if “you listen to me and be my girl, your dad will be save for not paying the money he own us… If not, he will still needs to pay us the money and I will tells him how ‘GOOD’ is his daughter is….” For not hurting her family, she became the head’s girl and will be going to Love Hotel with him every night… If she doesn’t obey the head, the head will hit her as hard as possible until the bleed drip out…

Last Wednesday did went to watch Twilight with my sister, brother, Sandy and Marni at Marina Square… The main actor Robert Pattinson was so charming in the show… The show is so nice to watch… My youngest sister went to bought the storybook but had been out of stock for most of the bookstore but lucky, we found the book at Bishan Popular… So she bought it without a second thought…. And for the younger sister, she is going to buy the DVD once it is released… All my sisters are crazy for the movie and me too… If is not that guy acted, will the show be nice??? But for my friend, Marni she is so crazy for that guy and had watched the movie for 4th times and even the storybooks she also had read all of it without 4 days… She is crazy for that guy and even wanted a boyfriend who is a vampire and charming and rich at the same time…
Me got to go for my lunch and will stop now… Will blog in anytime round….
